Hey everybody Spring is here and We are loving it!...well actually I am not sure Spring has started but it feels as if has.
Here is my entry for the fab Lil Bees blog and this time I have focus on Chipboard. There are a number of thing you can do with Chipboard, from covering it with paper to cover with glossy accents. Here is my take of the Challenge.
For these cute boots I simply cover them with designer paper. I do not have the proper
tools Like the basic grey ones to give the chipboard a proper finish in stead I used a regular file and carefully finished the small areas.
Chipboard letters are not hard to find. I have these for so long I have give them a good use. So here they are... the only thing I added to them was a green line with a thin green marker.
This was the easiest. This wheel barrel was inked, literally with Stazon jet black ink. Great matte finish. Love it! Probably my favorite.
On these tools you can see shiny and matte effects. I used ink pad to color the handles red and I used embossing powder for the rest of the tool. Love it too. Now that I see all of them this way it is hard for me to decide which board technique I like.
This is officially my fourth layout and I decided to use 8.5" x 11" size. for a few reasons. space reasons and also because I do not have a lot of my papers with me.
One last thing. I started to like doodling and the chevron design. There are a few designers out there using them and I thought I would give them both a try and here are the results. I am glad that you were able to stop by and I hope you can find inspiration and new ideas of how to use chipboards. Thanks for stopping by.
